Real Life Stories

Lulu's at Zion

D and I had such a great adventure this week! For the past 3 months, I've been obsessed with the idea of going to Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah. (By the way Utah is one of the most beautiful states that I have ever been to). Anyway, we decided to have a spur of the moment trip and go! So on Saturday, we took time off and switched shifts with people, and Sunday after I got off work, we headed straight there! I love road trips out west because there is actually things to see! When I was in Kentucky and we drove down to florida, it felt like a torturous 7 hours. Sure, there were trees to see, but that is about it. When we drove 6 hours to Zion, it went by so quickly because there are so many different landscapes; rock formations, trees, sand, grass, Joshua trees, hole in the wall little towns, etc. It went by so quickly! We also got to drive through the Mojave Preserve again and it was beautiful!! Plus, D and I are good adventure buddies for each other.

This time around, I teamed up with Lulu's to show off one of their new arrivals. I saw this dress and absolutely fell in love with it. It has quite a Spanish flare to it, which is like right up my alley. This dress is so breathable and comfy. I mean, I had it wadded up in my backpack as I was hiking up the mountain to get to this photo spot. Also, in these photos, I was wearing my hiking clothes underneath of them and you can't even tell! I let my hair air dry as we hiked, I had most of my makeup on besides the lipstick (I did that right before we took photos), and all I really had to do is put the dress on! So easy and effortless.
